Go to Virginia's Rat Breeders Page
<http://www.interlog.com/~audiotre/links/breeders.htm>
for a comprehensive listing of Rat Breeders with home pages on the internet.

Remember, when selecting a pet rat from a breeder or from a pet store you should always do as thorough a health check as you can. Look for things like lice, bald spots, lumps, scabs, porphyrin staining (bloody nose) or anything else unusual. Listen to the rat's breathing to make sure that it's clear, and beware a group of rats that are sneezy.
